The Mystery
The story about the couple who woke up to find that they had photos in their camera of them sleeping in bed from the night before.
A young couple stayed in The Drovers Inn not so long ago. Having had a great evening at the bar listening to a live band while enjoying tasty food with the group of friends they were travelling with. They retired to their room for the night, knowing that they had an early start continuing the west highland way, the following morning.
Having had a long day, and tired out from the evening in the bar, they slept soundly throughout the night.
The following morning while packing up to get on their way. They noticed that their digital camera had been moved slightly from where it was sitting next to the bed.
While inspecting the camera, they found that there had been a number of photographs taken throughout the night. On looking through the photographs, they all appeared to be of the couple sound asleep, with what looked like an eerie light emanating from above the four poster bed they lay on.
Confused by this discovery, they at first though it could have been the work of one of their travelling companions, trying to play a prank on the couple for retiring early the night before. However, this explanation was soon discarded when they realised that their room door was still locked from the inside, as they had left it the previous night. On checking out of the Inn later on, the staff at reception also confirmed that there hadn’t been any staff that could have had access to the room either.
With the couples friends also denying any knowledge of the incident, it remains a mystery to this day who or what took the photographs.
